
Tunay DOĞAN started his undergraduate education in the Genetics and Bioengineering program at Okan University Faculty of Engineering, where he obtained proficiency qualification. He completed his education in 2017 as the valedictorian of the department with honors and commenced his master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Acıbadem University Institute of Health Sciences in the same year. After completing his master's degree in 2019, he was accepted into the Cancer Genetics PhD program at Istanbul University Capa Oncology Institute. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree in 2023 with a thesis titled "Investigation of MicroRNA and Proteome Profiles of Urinary Exosomes in Bladder Cancer." Additionally, Tunay DOĞAN holds a bachelor's degree in Health Management and associate degrees in Pathology Laboratory Techniques, Medical Laboratory Techniques, and Laboratory and Veterinary Assistance Services. Throughout his educational journey, he has worked as a scholar/executive in numerous TUBITAK and BAP projects. In 2021, he served as a Genetic Engineer at the Genetic Diseases Diagnosis Center of Basaksehir Cam and Sakura City Hospital for one year. Subsequently, he was employed as a lecturer in the Department of Pathology Laboratory Techniques at Gelisim University Vocational School of Health Services. Later, he established the Histopathology Research Laboratory affiliated with Istinye University Faculty of Medicine and assumed responsibility for it. Tunay DOĞAN currently continues his academic career as an Assistant Professor in the Medical Laboratory Techniques Program at Istinye University Vocational School of Health Services. He is married and has one child.
