The aim of the Physiotherapy Program is to train auxiliary health personnel who will work in Physical Therapy Rehabilitation clinics, special branch centers, SPA/thermal facilities, elderly and patient care centers in order to improve the health and quality of life of individuals with congenital or acquired disabilities. Physiotherapy Technician is the assistant health personnel who perform the treatment approaches determined by the physiotherapy-specific evaluation methods after the diagnosis of the specialist physician and under the supervision of the specialist physician and physiotherapist.
Istinye University Physiotherapy Program provides practice-based training, practical training is given in the Electrotherapy Application laboratory within our university. In this way, students gain experience in many applications before they go to summer internships. In addition, our students have the opportunity to do internships at İstinye University hospitals.
Students who graduate from this program receive the title of "Physiotherapy Technician". Public and private inpatient/non-bedded health institutions and rehabilitation centers affiliated to the Ministry of Health, inpatient/non-bedded health institutions and organizations affiliated with universities, physical therapy and rehabilitation clinics and private branch centers, institutions providing primary health care, nursing homes, spa-cure treatment centers. They can work in medical centers and hotels for health tourism.
