Graduated from Trakya Üniversity Science Faculty Physics Department in 2007. Then, she completed her master of science degree in Istanbul University Atomic and Molecular Physics Department in 2010 with the thesis name of “Investigation of Preeclempsia Disease Using Raman Tweezers”. She started the same department as a PhD student in the same year and completed it in 2020 with the thesis name of “Investigation of Hyperfine Structure of Tulium Element and Classification of Its Spectral Lines in Optic Region”. Her research interest is in Atomic Physics, Laser Spectroscopy, Hyperfine Structure in Atoms. She lectured Physics I, Physics II, Radiation Physics, Radiation Security and Protection From Radiation, Acoustic Physics in undergraduate level. Having many international articles and congress notifications, Dr. Parlatan has been the Head of the Medical Imaging Techniques Program since February 2021.
